American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her acting career in supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she took on the role of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also had the role of a supporting character on FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. She was Kaylee an infant Moira on the opening season of on FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on The NBC series This Is Us. She also voices several characters in the animated comedy series of Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when her mother and she moved to California. They were able to move around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in singing, acting, and photography around the age of 13. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
